Pet Blessing 2017

The Feast of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, is a day when special church services are held to bless pets in the United Kingdom. Our annual pet blessing will be taking place this Sunday, the 1st October at 3pm. All are welcome to join us at Bury Parish Church, St Mary the Virgin, The Rock, BL9 0AH. We look forward to seeing you and your pets.

Cat Neutering

Strinesdale Centre Clinic

We are now holding a stationary clinic at our new animal centre at The Strinesdale Centre, Holgate Street, Oldham, OL4 2JW. The clinic will be held every Monday and Friday 10am-2pm. No appointment necessary, just show up on the day. Please be aware our clinics are subject to proof of means tested benefits or low income which must be presented on each visit. Animal Centre Grand Opening Day!

Our open day was a great success! Thank you to all who attended and helped on the day. Together we raised an amazing £963.29! Update On Our £50,000 Fundraising Challenge

Glenn and his partner completed their shark dive on Sunday. What a brilliant experience! So far they have raised over £900! A fantastic amount! A huge well done and thank you to them both. Volunteers Needed – Chadderton, Rawtenstall & Springhead

Our charity shops are a vital part of our Branch, without them we wouldn’t have the money to fund our animal care work. We are always in need of volunteers, even just for a few hours per week. That extra help can really make a difference to a shop and therefore our animal centre operations. There is always plenty to do within our charity shops, from serving customers to changing displays and processing the donations for sale. Do you own a vehicle that you want to sell or get rid of?  If so please think about donating it to us through Giveacar. Neutering Vouchers

We have vouchers worth £30 towards the cost of neutering FEMALE cats.  They can be redeemed at certain vets in the Bury and Oldham areas. The balance payable would be between £23 – £26.  Proof of benefits are required and they can be obtained from our Reception at 11 Retiro Street, Oldham OL1 1SA or from our mobile clinic.
